This Refund and Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) forms part of the Terms and Conditions of Glenn Tech LLC DBA Preplex, trading as Preplex.app (“Preplex.app,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By purchasing tickets or services through our website, mobile application, or any affiliated sales channel (collectively, the “Services”), you (“you” or “your”) agree to this Policy.

1. GENERAL PRINCIPLES

  • All ticket sales are final, except as expressly stated in this Policy or as required by applicable law.

  • We operate as a ticketing platform, not the event organizer, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Refunds are therefore generally subject to the event organizer’s policies.

  • Refunds and cancellations are handled in accordance with this Policy and applicable laws in the jurisdiction where the event is held.

2. EVENT CANCELLATIONS, POSTPONEMENTS and CHANGES

2.1 Cancellations

  • If an event is cancelled in full, you will be entitled to a refund of the ticket price excluding any processing fees, convenience fees, delivery charges, or taxes, unless otherwise required by law.

  • Refunds will be processed only after official confirmation of cancellation from the event organizer.

2.2 Postponements

  • If an event is postponed or rescheduled, your ticket will remain valid for the new date.

  • Refunds for postponed events are at the discretion of the event organizer.

2.3 Changes to Event

  • Minor changes (venue, seating arrangements, timing adjustments) do not qualify for a refund.

3. CUSTOMER-INITIATED CANCELLATIONS

We do not provide refunds for:

  • Change of personal plans.

  • Inability to attend due to travel issues, illness, or other personal circumstances.

  • Mistaken purchases (wrong event, wrong date, wrong ticket type).

  • Incorrect personal or payment details provided during checkout.

4. REFUND PROCESS

4.1 How to Request a Refund

  • All refund requests must be submitted via support@preplex.app with the subject line: “Refund Request – [Order ID]”.

  • Requests must include:

    • Order ID / Transaction Reference

    • Ticket details

    • Reason for refund request

    • Proof of purchase

4.2 Refund Method and Timeline

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only.

  • Processing times:

    • Stripe transactions (USA, CA, UAE, UK): 5–10 business days.

    • Razorpay transactions (India): 7–14 business days.

  • Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

5. NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

The following are non-refundable under all circumstances unless required by law:

  • Processing fees (5.50%)

  • Convenience fees ($1.00 per transaction)

  • Delivery/shipping fees (if applicable)

  • Promotional or discounted tickets

  • Complimentary tickets

6. CHARGEBACK POLICY

  • Chargebacks are strictly prohibited.

  • We maintain transaction records, event attendance confirmations, and delivery proof.

  • Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account suspension, legal recovery actions, and reporting to payment processors.

7. EVENT ORGANIZER RESPONSIBILITY

  • Event organizers are solely responsible for the quality, safety, and execution of the event.

  • Any disputes relating to the event content, schedule, or performance should be directed to the event organizer.

  • Preplex.app’s liability is strictly limited to ticketing services.

8. FORCE MAJEURE

We are not responsible for refunds in cases where events cannot proceed due to circumstances beyond the control of the event organizer or Preplex.app, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government restrictions or regulations

  • Strikes or labor disputes

  • Acts of terrorism

  • Public health emergencies (including pandemics)

In such cases, refund decisions rest solely with the event organizer unless otherwise required by law.
